Valerie Barnes, PE, is a Senior Structural Engineer in Becht’s Woodstock, Maryland office. She is a 2014 Graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering / Infrastructure. Ms. Barnes obtained her Professional Engineer license in the State of Maryland in 2022.
Valerie has over eight years of experience in structural/civil engineering and design. She has provided engineering services on residential buildings, commercial developments, and government facilities. Her experience includes roofs, facades, retaining walls, balconies, decks, foundations, and site drainage improvements.
