Veeco Instruments

Founded in 1945, Veeco Instruments is a manufacturing company that specializes in thin film process equipment for high-tech electronic devices. Becht Engineering BT, Inc. joined USA Architect's team to renovate Veeco's existing space in Somerset, New Jersey. Our professionals provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural engineering services to renovate the entire building into Veeco's international office and manufacturing facility. The design was developed as a multi-phase project so as to allow Veeco to remain in the building and fully operational throughout construction. In addition to the comprehensive space renovations, our scope of work included upgrades to nearly every major infrastructure system, including the chiller plant, electrical distribution, natural gas piping, lab gas piping, sprinklers, fire alarm upgrades, and domestic hot water infrastructure.
